My Review

This is book #2 in the Lisa Blake series.  It can be read as a standalone novel, but I would recommend reading them in order for continuity of the story.

Following on from the first book in the series, The Purr-fect Petsitter, Lisa Blake is back.  The story continues to follow the lives of Lisa and her best friend, Felicity.  As in the first book, Lisa and Felicity’s characters are fabulous and the story is told from their alternating points of view.  There are also plenty of other returning characters with Nathan, Dominic and Pete also making a welcome appearance.  I love Lisa and Felicity’s friendship which has blossomed throughout the two books, and I’d love to be in a friendship like these two characters have!

Short enough to read in a day, this story started well and by the end of the first chapter, I was hooked!  A wonderfully light-hearted read packed full to the brim with tales of life, love and laughter!  Small furry animals also feature again with Lisa’s pet sitter business and this book is perfect for those who like a helping of cute creatures along with their romance!   This was a delightful story of love and friendships that left me with a lovely warm feeling and a smile on my face!  I hope there is another book in the series to carry on more stories of Lisa and Felicity!
