I have created this blog to share my love of books.  I’ve always loved books ever since I was a child.  I will read anything, but my favourite genres are crime/thriller and chick lit….but if it has a good cover and an interesting description, I will give it a go!

Reading takes me to places that I wouldn’t ever be able to go to! There is nothing better than curling up with a good book and getting lost in the moment. I love the books that you just don’t want to end.  You read slowly so you can make it last, but you want to read it faster to find out what happens.

I currently work in a library.  This is my dream job, but unfortunately libraries are suffering from government cuts and losses at the moment, and this also means that the dedicated staff who work in them are also suffering. I dread the day when I will no longer work for the library service.  I love to use my knowledge of books to recommend library users different books. I see people browsing through the shelves, not knowing what to pick, and I go up and say “try this one” or “this might be for you” and they then come back weeks later and thank you for suggesting such a good book!  My work is done and I’m happy!

I read so much that I thought I would start this blog to review the books I read.  Hopefully it will help someone to pick that perfect book!
